The EFI 2025 Annual Conference will take place on 17-19 September in Prague, the Czech Republic. The conference will be organised together with our member organisation Czech University of Life Sciences Prague, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Czech Republic and Czech Forests.

The KSFE-FETEC 2025 conference shared and discussed the latest scientific and professional research work in forest operations and engineering, focusing on managing forest health, forest fires, landslides, and biomass utilisation, with participation from internationally renowned researchers, practitioners, and industry stakeholders.
Held every three years, ESA’s Living Planet Symposia are among the world’s premier events on Earth observation. The symposia continue to expand in both size and scope. With the climate crisis intensifying, the Living Planet Symposium 2025 (LPS25) emphasises transitioning from ‘observation to climate action and sustainability for Earth’.
The 6th Oikos Finland Conference was held in Jyväskylä 11th-14th March 2025. This conference brought together current basic and applied research in ecology and evolutionary biology, highlighting that their interplay is key to the fundamental understanding and management of natural resources.
The 57th International Symposium on Forestry Mechanisation (FORMEC) was held in Joensuu, Finland in June 9–13, 2025. Next year’s FORMEC will take place under the theme of Harnessing novel technologies to execute sustainable and low-carbon wood supply. The conference was organised by the University of Eastern Finland (UEF), the Natural Resources Institute Finland (Luke), the University of Helsinki and Metsäteho Oy, with the forest machine manufacturer Ponsse Plc as the main partner.
