FOREST4EU

FOREST4EU was an EU-funded Horizon Europe project that connected forestry and agroforestry Operational Groups across Europe to strengthen innovation and knowledge exchange. It created interregional multi‑actor hubs focused on five key topics – wood mobilisation, forest adaptation to climate change, sustainable forest management tools, non‑wood forest products, and agroforestry – helping transfer locally developed solutions to other regions. The project collected, shared, and translated practical knowledge, producing accessible dissemination and capacity‑building materials, and worked with policymakers to highlight the relevance of these innovations for the EU Green Deal. FOREST4EU concluded its activities in December 2025.
