FORbEST project

FORbEST is SafeNet’s sister project, funded by the EU under the same topic: “HORIZON-CL6-2024-BIODIV-01-8 – Conservation and protection of carbon-rich and biodiversity-rich forest ecosystems”. FORbEST aims to restore and protect forest ecosystems across five EU biogeographical regions and one tropical area. The project promotes sustainable forest management by engaging local communities, enhancing biodiversity, and supporting climate adaptation. By studying how governance affects forest health, FORbEST empowers citizens and contributes to a greener, more resilient future.
