Role in the Project:
UNILEEDS leads WP3, as well as contributing substantially to WP2 and WP4. We are responsible for tasks T2.2 Datasets for mapping current carbon stocks, T3.3c on forest feedbacks to local climate, T3.5 Climate refugia, extinction debt and consolidation and T4.5 Leakage of EU conservation policies in other global regions.
Role in the Project:
TUD is working in WP2 - Task 2.5 and contributes to improve tools and techniques for identifying primary and old-growth forests and monitoring multi-taxon biodiversity, and validate biodiversity projections at the European scale.
Role in the Project:
UPM is leading Work Package WP5 on the priorities for improving the connectivity and resilience of the forest conservation network in Europe, and contributes as the leading local partner in the Eastern Sierra Morena case study (Spain). It also contributes to other Work Packages such as WP1, WP4 and WP6.
