FLARE – Forests & Livelihoods: Assessment, Research and Engagement
FLARE is an international network of researchers, practitioners, NGOs, development organisations and policymakers working at the intersection of forests and livelihoods. The network advances knowledge on how forests and tree-based systems contribute to people’s wellbeing and supports the application of this knowledge to policy and practice. Through research, capacity building, conferences, working groups and knowledge-sharing activities, FLARE helps inform decision-making and promotes equitable, sustainable approaches that benefit both forests and the communities that depend on them.
